She is beautiful. Cant wait for mine to get that big. Mine is a secret eater. I have her for 1 month and she is thriving. Very hardy animals.
Do we have these here in the states? Where did you get yours. Is it the diet that makes them bigger or its a different species.
Very nice pictures of your cane toads!!![]()

Very nice photos! Their soooo cute! You should post a photo of their Vivarium!
Spencer pal thanks for opening up my eyes. Knowledge is the key to success. I'm sure i have the small size . Again i screw up with the first pixie . It turned out to be a dwarf type. And now this. It never ends. So what type do i have. Whats the name.
I only found info about their size . The lower the density in population the bigger the toad. I'm looking into it cause its very interesting. They also say that in there natural country the frog population is less then the countries they have invaded like 10x less.
'Here's Novacane. What do you think. Is he or she and small or large type. Thanks
thats a nice looking toad, at that size you should of heard it croak if it was a male as thats the size of my young toads and i hear two of them croak,do you no the age? the problem you have with canes is there are that many varietys in size and colour, im no expert on them but from what ive gathered, there are some areas of south america that produce very large canes, why they tame down so easy is there greed they eat like you would not believe, mine were wild caught and i had one taking an earth worm out of my hand with in one week, <i had a normal female cane in 6 month i never seen her feed once but her bowl got emptied every night> they have a huge appetite and are really clever as far as phibs go, my freind is obsessed with these things will send him a pic of yours and he will probaly be able to tell us were it's from, bare with me it might take a day or two by the time he gets back to me,there are a lot of people been fooled into thinking all canes get big myself included so your not the only one and you wont be the last,
cheers spencer.......
there housed in rhino vivs 4x2x2 ft there some kind of plastic easy to clean and very strong hence the name this was set up for a smaller toad but gives you an idea these big ones just trash the place so no plants bigger baths and hides
