Default Best temp for pacman frogs?

Wondering what the best temp would be to maintain my frogs at. They are currently in a grow-up rack. I upped the temp to 80 ambient and they seem to have gone off feed, I'm assuming thats too warm. Any suggestions?

    Hot end: ???
    Ambient: ???

I'd say about 76-78. I agree, 80 is too warm, especially if they are adults.

Temps should be 75-79 at night and 80-85 during the day. If the frogs are juveniles you might want to top out at 82-83 during the day. The difference in day and night time temps is important as it helps establish their night/day cycle. Warmer temps in the day are very important for proper digestion and should increase appetite, not decrease it.

Please note that these are Tropical frogs and need tropical temps and humidity levels. Temp fluctuations that differ too greatly from night to day will cause them to stop eating. Babies and juvies need day 80 to 82. Night 75 to 79. 80 is the average temp to maintain for them. Adults actually should be kept at 80 to 85 day and the same night time range as babies and juvies. If you're keeping your Pac at 80 than the night time temp should only drop to about 75 or 76. If it drops to 70 or 72 it could make them not eat because of a large temp drop. Temps of night and day should only have no more than a 5 degree difference. Unless you raise their temps to 85 or 86 periodically for a few hours then the night time temp can drop to 78 or even 76 as they are not kept all the time at these high temps so a little more than a 5 degree difference won't harm their eatting habits.

EDIT-if you have them in racks be sure you have temp and humidity gauges in each enclosure so you know how much heat is building up within their homes not just ambient air temp within the room they are kept.

I read that 80-85 was too warm for adults... but it does make sence considering that they are tropical frogs. I keep my baby at 82 in the day, and 78 at night.

That's good for babies and juvies. Remember that heat helps them digest and metabolize their food. It does get a lot hotter than high 70s in tropical climates even higher than high 80s, but that is why frogs hide during the day and come out at night. Or stay in water during the day so the sun doesn't dry them out.
