OK.So yesterday my gecko died and im still not over it and im going to get a toad tonight when its dark and see what I get but ive done this before with a leopard frog and it lived for a month. But I saw a toad that kind of looke like a cane toad and it was like 4 inches long.So are there cane toads in Oklahoma ?![]()
No, cane toads are most likely not in Oklahoma.
I also might add that 4 inches would be very small for a cane toad; they average 6-9 inches long with 12 inches not uncommon.
Just the other day I caught a large Fowler's toad that was likely around the 4-inch mark. American toads also reach 4 inches quite frequently.
So, in summary, no, not a cane toad, just a big American or Fowler's toad.
Thanks
It's not likely, but not IMPOSSIBLE. These little guys are out to take control of the world...
most likely not cane
