From my experiance this could either be,

1: he has just finished calling (if male) and the vocal sac is still puffed out a little.
2: could possibly be swelling from last nights jump around, highly unlikely but possible,
i think this is nothing to worry about but thats my 2 cence.

ah thank god sorry just never seen him do this before so got all scared hehe. thankyou so much for helping me. do you think it could be due to his hibernation? because his hibernating at the moment because its winter where i live so his been sleeping a lot. have had a few issues with him due to i saved him from a bad owner so his got some scares on him which is very sad from the previous owner so im trying my best to care for him love him to bits and dont want him to have any disease or illnesses im a worrywart too hehe. but thankyou so much much appreciated

He either just croaked, ate a big cricket, or he's currently shedding his skin and you caught him mid bite.
I have a frog. She's fat and green. Her name is Gertrude, because she is fat and green.

thankyou everyone for your feedback about him. its been 3 days now with the swollen throat or lip, and last night i went to look at him and saw his swollen area is like clear/ blue looking and i freaked out because i know his not croaking i haven't heard him croak all of this year yet, but if it is croaking why hasn't it gone back in? its been this way for 3 days not a change. i would take him to the vet but where i live they dont treat reptiles so im like stuck not knowing what this is and i really dont want to wake up finding him dead i just want to help him please i dont know what else to do. thank you all
