Green tree frog during the day

Hello all,

How active should a green tree frog be during the day? I know they are nocturnal but our frog NEVER moves during the day unless you catch him and put him in a different enclosure when his is being cleaned and even then he just crawls into an upper corner and then goes back to sleep.

Are there other species that are active during the day so you can actually enjoy viewing them doing something?

Yes, sometimes they like to climb soft-feeling vines of a plant I put in my terrarium. I put two frogs together and now they sit on the same rock close to each other. Very cute.

You can see a lot of movement if you split up their insects into small meals, few crickets in morning and a few in evening.

Are there other frogs that are active during the day as opposed to the night?

I believe dart frogs are active during the day... atleast my reptile guys are lol

Firebelly toads are active during the day too. They can be quite entertaining.
