I did a forum search before posting this and found a similar issue in the Pacman section, but couldn't in the Pyxies so. . .
Is "Nami" too fat? It's kinda hard to tell with these frogs as their rather heavy-bodied to begin with.
I've had her for perhaps a few years, and she was an adult when I got her and has shown no obvious health issues since.
I feed her mostly nightcrawlers, as well as dubia roaches but she seems to prefer worms more than anything. I used to feed her pinkies (one time even a fuzzy) every month or so as well, but I can't even remember the last time she had any rodents. Feeding schedule is usually 3 (rarely 4) 'crawlers every 3 days or so and, like any healthy pyxie should, she dives for them like she hasn't eaten in at least a week lol. Is this too much? If it is, how much should I reduce feeding?
The best advice I could find in the Pacman post about the same issue was if you can't see her feet when the frog is at rest = too fat. That doesn't seem to be the immediate case here, but all opinions will be welcome.

Looks just fine! I don't think she is obese. She looks like a normal adult female Pyxi.
lol, she looks so sad in a middle picturewhat did you do?
she looks all right, but on a fatter side, i would reduce amount of food intake. and feed her more dubia or ever crickets once in a while, it takes some to catch a cricket, good workout for her![]()
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
She looks good. Here's how I look at it. Your diet is great (worms/dubia). Every three days for an adult is good. Skinny/unhealthy is bad. As they get a couple years on em they always look 'fat'.
The only recommendation I would have is provide a little variety if she'll take it.
Good work!
