I just fed my frog and he pooped this out...
He usually poops nuggets
It's a little hard to see, but it's solid isn't it? Also, what are those rubber looking like mats on the floor?
Edit: whatever they are, remove them. If they are heating mats, remove them asap, but there shouldn't be any rubber mats in a frogs terrarium, you are limiting his living space, that's not natural.
The rest of the enclosure looks great, nice pond!
The poop seemed liquids and soft and not solid. He usually poops out nuggets even when fed night crawlers, i noticed this after i fed him some large crickets with calcium dust. He started out eating crickets, then i moved to night crawlers as staple, got some crickets for variety then this liquidie poop appears.
What did you feed yesterday and the day before? Nightcrawlers can make poop soft, the poop doesn't look like diarrhea, so I don't think you have anything to worry about.
The different poop could be related to a diet change, have you recently started including nightcrawlers or added another new prey to his menu?
Well all the times he pooped while eating night crawlers they were nuggets, i fed him night crawlers only for about 2 weeks. I went to get a refill and some crickets yesterday. Yesterday I fed him crickets and night crawlers.
Doesn't look quite like diarrhea, but looks softer than normal... Keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn't act strange or lethargic over the next few days. You probably have nothing to worry about, but any time something changes from the normal it's better to be overly cautious than miss warning signs.
Mine eats a nightcrawler only diet (for health reasons) and the poo is usually quite soft and easily broken apart, but doesn't lose its shape or appear to 'melt' at all.
btw, kudos to you for keeping a camera nearby. It's really difficult to give advice based just on someone's description of a frog's poo lol
