African Dwarf frog lifespan

Ive had a african dwarf frog for 15 yrs from the research i been doing the lifespan is 5 yrs also i got him a friends a few times other african dwarf frogs but he always ate them hes about the size of a quarter when he not stretched out

African dwarf frogs average lifespan is 3-5 years. If cared for properly, they can live up to 10-12 years is what ive heard but what ive heard has been debunked by your 15 year old frog!
