    Default most Vocal Frog/Toad Species

I want to get some pet frogs or toads but what I really want is to hear ribbit ribbit at night. I've had Pac man frogs before and not a croak was heard. Can y'all point me at some vocal species?

If you're looking to keep a frog/toad just for the calls I suggest you getting one of the sound machines. Only males call, and you also need the right conditions for them to call.

I appreciate your honesty. Is there not a species where the male calls year round or is it strictly just during mating season?
I do enjoy pet frogs for the sheer ownership of a froggy but after my pacmen not making a single chirp I was hoping for a more vocal type of amphibian.

Like I said, only the males call and my WTF's and AGTF call when their temps and humidity are high. They also do their calling all hours of the night so they WILL wake you up unless you are on 3rd shift.
