I raised these little guys from eggs. I have 21 available and they are all readily eating live redworms, frozen bloodworm, pellets (salmon/newt & salamander), and live whiteworms, and the occasional tiny wax worm. Basically anything that will move they will take a nip at and if they like it, its gone!
The little axolotls are between 2" and 2.5" in length
$10 each and $15 shipping via priority 2-3 day. Please contact me for overnight pricing so I can get a quote.
If you buy 3 or more, they will be $8 each.
The floating plants seen in the last two photos are Salvinia minima "Water Spangles" and the larger ones are "Amazon Frogbit" - these make great plants to float across the top of a tank or tub to provide extra cover for your amphibians and fish. I will throw in 15 plants (4+ leaves each) for $2.99 with any order of an Axolotl. These plants will double in a week or two if given minimal conditions (which you should be offering ideal conditions for your little animals anyway!).
PM me if you have any questions!

Yes, 14 of them![]()
Someone asked me a good question about sand being an issue, yes it can be for the smaller axolotls (like these) - however I've been watching closely and have seen the axolotls in my tank spit the sand out as they nip at worms and bugs. To anyone buying, just to be safe it would be best to wait until the axolotls are 4-5" to place them in a tank with sand unless you are very observant and careful with your feedings (I use a glass jar).
Regardless, the ones in the tank are not for sale (they are my pets) They are near identical (from the same batch of eggs) to the ones in the Tupperware containers which are for sale
. I only showed them because it was easier to get photos of them from ground level in the tank than the ones that are in the plastic containers.
There are 11 left for sale! I'll be shipping out Monday morning for anyone who's interested.
I plan to not use substrate for a while myself.
