I have a male and female red eyed tree frog and at night sometimes I hear one of them make a single croak?? What is this for?? Should I be worried??
No, mine usually do that while hunting and other random times.
2.0.3 Hyla versicolor "Eastern Gray Tree Frogs"

They have a few different calls. The trilling like lower-pitched call is a mating call. The loud, single call seems to be just regular communication along with the mellow clicks. Sometimes they do a louder thrilling while shaking their branches... That is a territorial sign, though red eyes are quite mellow overall.
