Hi, everyone!
About 2 months ago, I added a Giant Waxy Monkey Tree Frog to my home. Originally, he spent most of his time up on his main vine bridge and seemed quite content. However, for the last few days he has been spending a bit more time sitting on the ground floor of the terrarium and is developing light green spots on the sides of his head near the secretion glads. I remember reading that light green spots on white's tree frogs are a bad sign but I am curious if this is also the case for this species?
I am truly concerned and need to know if I need to set up a veterinarian appointment for him ASAP. Thus, any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Hello! I'm sorry your frog does not appear to be feeling well. Light green spots is not usually a good sign.
Please copy/paste and fill this out so we can get a better idea of what is going on.

Okay... I responded to your pic in the other thread.... I'll respond here too.
I have only one question - do you love your frogs and are trully concerned?
Once again... I'm not gonna be yelling... Just yet lol no offence intended, I wanna believe you housed your frogs this way because of not knowing.
if your answer to my question is yes, We will help you to get waxy and the other one ( if still alive) get better, before it is not too late, but you will have lots to do.
Please answer the questions Amy posted.
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
I counted 4 different species of tree frogs in the vivarium picture thread "My viviarium with various tree frog species, fish, and two red eyed crocodile skinks."
No one is going to yell (as Lija said, yet) but it's imperative to the health of these animals to get them separated. We truly just want to help.

Amy, it is possible there are less tree frogs there now.... Unless waxy is not eating
i really hope it is not too late yet.

Hello and welcome to FF! Well, you've made quite a rocky entrance in here
. I've deleted your double post to prevent confusion that will complicate your frog situation. Yellow spots on tree frogs have been linked to represent a skin irritation. In your case it's a concern because agains most experienced advice we come across in here; you've mixed frogs and other animals together
.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
