Has anyone used this?

I am debating getting this instead of the 8.5 inch dome I was debating as it should allow for more of a temperature gradient so the frog can seek out exactly the temp it needs. But I do not want to get it if its not going to fulfill its purpose.

Also if I do get it which bulb would be best? can frogs see red light? I know some animals are blind to it.

I don't know anything about that product, but infrared bulbs do not effect their day/night cycle.
