I just checked on Blob today to feed him and he is burrowed with his eyes mostly closed, but he still reacts (like his eyes blink for a second and he moves) when you touch him. I've never seen him like this before and I am wondering if he is hibernating or if something is wrong.
What is your temp and humidity? If those are correct and he's getting somewhere close to a 12/12 hour day/night cycle, he shouldn't be hibernating.
Also, if he is trying to hibernate, you should see a thick coat of mucous forming around his body. If his eyes stay closed when he isn't buried or partially buried (basically when there's no reason for him to close them to keep dirt out) then that could be a sign he isn't feeling well.

Right now the temp is 79, but I have a hygrotherm and it keeps it on a cycle and I get it to 82 during the day. The humidity is right now is 80.
He seems to have his eyes open now and his pupils are large- so I assume he is awake? Could he have just been sleeping?
Huh, that's weird. They don't really close their eyes when they sleep, but maybe he had something caught in it or something? I'd keep a close eye on him for any other weird behavior.

Ok, I usually check on him a couple times a day. He was burrowed up to his eyes, so you could be right that he had some substrate or something caught in it.
