Mesh terrarium for tree frogs?

Does anyone use mesh terrariums for tree frogs? They are commonly used for chameleons, and I don't see any dangers in it, but wondering everyone else's opinions on this.

The problem with the screen terrariums is that it's impossible to hold heat and humidity unless you plan on keeping the ambient heat and humidity at the perfect level.

Drip systems are crucial to keeping humidity in those mesh enclosures for chameleons. Would it work for a tree frog? Possibly waxy tree frogs, but the downside is if the drip system fails, chameleons can handle the drop in humidity, tree frogs, as you know, would dry up and die. Just not worth the risk imho
