Anyone ever tried this in their viv? If it won't grow I see it's hardy here anyway so I can still use it. But I thought it would look really cute in the tank

Never tried it. It may survive in a tree frog tank, but I highly doubt it would survive a dart tank. It's normally used as a ground cover plant here.
