Default NJ - Delaware Water Gap ID please

    Hey,
So I went hiking this weekend with the girlfriend and we stumbled across at least a dozen 1/8th inch froglets or toadlets .. tiny tiny little hoppers. Was wondering if anyone would be able to ID these little guys for me.

(Girlfriend wants to "rescue" them but I refused unless we could get a proper tank/habitat setup for them and know what species they are)

    Let me know, Thanks

They look to be a toad, Anaxyrus. Quite possibly Anaxyrus americanus. See Toad Basic Care for their husbandry.
