Are any of these two eat able for my pacman? Deku mentioned slugs and these are the most common in Sweden not poisonous what I know of (we have certain ducks that eat them in peoples gardens) but I thought I better ask first.

They should be fine. At worst they could be distasteful, which would prompt the frog to reject them after tasting them.

that 2nd pic is really cool! I like the way he looks.
You have quite beautiful slugs in Sweden. Our slugs are just gray. I know of some one that feeds slugs to their frogs that they have had for quite a few years, so they cant be that bad. I have not tried them though.![]()
In the Pacific Northwest they have banana slugs, which are kind of pretty.
Oh yea..I just googled them. They are cool. Who knew that slugs could be so pretty.![]()
Well, I did.![]()
Ha ha...Well done Kurt.I really like the blue slugs, Bielzia coerulans.
Blue slugs?
Yes..Bielzia coerulans. They are blue when they are adults. Very pretty.![]()
They're a fine food source, provided the frog will eat them. It's a messy proposition.

Thanks John, I'll go on slug hunt then!![]()
I mostly see the grey ones. recently there was a solid black one truckin along. Is it safe for you to feed your animals the slugs you find outside? I'm asking because of all the pesticides that people may have sprayed or w/e
To keep slugs get an empty 10gallon tank. Put some dirt in there. A SHALLOW water dish(less than an inch deep) Put some decor in there and keep the tank moist constantly. It should be damp. Around 80% of humidity. They dont need any heat source. Food should be veggies. Theres a site called cybersnail. They show you how to keep em.
Stupid this will sound. Wash them. Put a couple in a 10gallon terrarium. Give them places to breed. Keep the offspring. Make them grow. Release parents. Keep a couple of offsprings for breeding purposes. Feed the rest to your frog. Voila. Breeding slugs isnt hard. They pretty much do it on their own---literary. Keep temps at 72 degrees. Dont let it get dry in your terrarium. But dont let it get sopping wet where the friggin substrate is like mush. Becarefull about live plants. Some plants are poisenous(especially house plants) which when ingested by snail/slug it may get those attributes if not killed. Which then may poison your frog. Feed it thin slices of zuchini cucumber, slices of carrots, potato, tomato, apple, and kale. Personally Id chop them up in little tiny bits, and put it in a feeding dish.
Good luck.
