First Live Mouse Feeding
*warning do not watch if you do not want to see a live mouse eaten*
My 2 pixes Jeremy and Squat eating their first live Rodents. Jeremy ate a pink a small mouse and 4 mealworms(dusted)! They are getting huge!
YouTube - African Bullfrog eats mouse
(I have them together at this point and they actually seem to enjoy each other. I have not noticed any aggressive behavior toward one another. I will be moving the male out eventually)

Will it really be that bad? No one has to watch? My intentions are not to offend.

Its funny because hes really chill when hes not hungry, the smaller female has a lot more attitude!

Re: First Live Mouse Feeding
That was awesome ! Isn't live feeding dangerous for the frog because the mouse could bite him ?

Thanks! , There is always risk of a bite. I was watching and ready with forceps, but you can see they were really not needed. I made sure the mice were small so the frogs could easily overpower them.
Some say its too dangerous, I feel if you take the necessary precautions there is minimal risk. I will not be giving them anything larger then a SMALL mouse live. ( I feed them nightcrawlers as staple )
The frogs seem to almost like the live feeding. You can see they know how to handle the mouse instinctively.

They look like they LOVE the live mouse feeding . When you move the camera to show the first frog again and the tail is hanging out , he looks really happy .

I've never posted any of my feeding vids on here because I have no idea what the responses will be. Can I post a couple? I'll have a big waring sign on it.
