Landscaping fabric VS mesh

Hi,

I've purchased landscaping fabric for the waterfall system I am building for the new viv. And as I have lots, I was wondering if I could not use that instead of the usual mesh i use to separate the hydro balls from the substrate...

Actually, Sara is very supportive. She is the one that first brought a frog into our house. And now that I am thinking seriously about breeding, it even makes it better. She also like the fact that I am an extremely high energy person and this in some sort of way calms me down... She sees it as a zen/meditation outlet for me... I'm sure sure she probably thinks something more like valium/paxil. If we ever get the chance to meet, you'll see what she means!

We are also planet lover/green parents/hippies at heart, and taking care of these animals fits right with us.

I have 3 kinds in my yard. One rubbery, kinda streatchy-- one like plastic and one like fiberglass paper. Only the rubbery one let's water through. In all the other places I have flooding issues when the snow melts. Just thaught I'd put in my 2€
