I recently purchased a Zoo Med 12"x12"x18" terrarium for my Pacman frog Grif. I moved him from a 10 gallon long tank. Is the Zoo Med terrarium a good choice for a male Pacman or would the long 10 hallon be better because it has more ground room? I figured that since they don't move around a whole lot that it would be fine for him. Anyone feel free to answer with his/her opinion on this.
I have that same zoo med cage. I use it for tree frogs, though. Since pacmans don't climb, I kind of feel that the extra vertical space is wasted. Not sure how much ground they need.
I put him in it when I thought he had chytrid to use as a quarentine hospital tank. Since the vet said there were no signs of chytrid I decided to just place soil in there and leave him for now. I can see where the hight is wasted. I figured the hight would help keep there dylight blue light I use from being so close to him. I guess I can always switch back later if needs be since I plan on keeping the 10 gallon.
